What is happening?
CITY OF BRISTOL (VARIOUS ROADS, WICK ROAD/WHITBY ROAD AREA, BRISLINGTON EAST AND BRISLINGTON WEST WARDS, CITY OF BRISTOL) (24 HOUR MAIN CARRIAGEWAY CLEARWAY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING) (BUS PARKING PLACES) (CAR CLUB PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING PLACES) ORDER 202-
The City Council of Bristol hereby gives NOTICE it proposes to make a traffic order, the effect of which would be:-
1. to revise prohibition of waiting arrangements for vehicles in Bloomfield Road, Langton Court Road and Langton Road;
2. to revise no stopping prohibitions on school entrance markings in Bloomfield Road and Langton Court Road;
3. to revise the disabled persons’ parking place in Bloomfield Road (which would be moved north eastwards); and
4. to remove the bus parking place in Bloomfield Road.

Further details of all the proposals are contained in the draft order, which together with plans, a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order and a copy of the order to be revoked may be inspected (in paper and digital format) at the Citizen Service Point, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Monday to Friday. The draft order, plans and Statement of Reasons are also available to view on the City Council website at www.bristol.gov.uk/trafficorders.
How to object
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to TRO Comments at the undermentioned address or by e-mail to tro.comments@bristol.gov.uk quoting reference CAE/RGW/P-1312A by 11th April 2025.
Please include your name and address and note that all representations received may be considered in public by the City Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
