What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adrannau 1 a 2 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 fel y i Diwygiwyd, Deddf Rheoli Traffig 2004, Rheoliadau Gorfodi Sifil ar Dramgwyddau Traffig Ffyrdd (Darpariaethau Cyffredinol) (Cymru) 2013, Gorchymyn Dynodi Gorfodi Sifil ar Dramgwyddau Lonydd Bysus a Thraffig sy n Symud (Dinas a Sir Caerdydd) 2014 a r holl bwerau gorfodi eraill, yn cynnig gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn diwygio r cyfyngiadau aros presennol i ganiatâu Beiciau Pedalau i ddefnyddio Heol Ogleddol yr Eglwys Newydd o r gyffordd â Sachville Avenue a thua r gogledd orllewin.

Mae hyn yn rhan o gynnig mwy ac at ddibenion gweinyddol yn unig ac ni fydd unrhyw newidiadau ar y safle.

Er y llinellau/arwyddion a allai fod ar y safle, bydd unrhyw sylwadau/ pryderon a godir yn ymwneud â r cynigion uchod yn ystod y cyfnod ymgynghori yn cael eu hystyried yn briodol.

Yn achos gwrthwynebiad, rhaid cynnwys datganiad sy n nodi r rhesymau dros wrthwynebu.

The County Council Of The City And County Of Cardiff
(Whitchurch Lane North, Cardiff) (One Way And No Entry) Order 2025

The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Sections 1 and 2 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004, The Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic Contraventions (General Provisions) (Wales) Regulations 2013, The Civil Enforcement of Bus Lanes and Moving Traffic Contraventions (City and County of Cardiff) Designation Order 2014 and of all other enabling powers proposes making an Order the general effect of which is to amend the existing traffic restrictions to allow Pedal Cycles to enter Whitchurch Lane North at its junction with Sachville Avenue and proceed in a north westerly direction.

This forms part of a larger proposal and is for administrative purposes only and there will be no changes on site.

In addition you can obtain copies of the same by sending an email request to roadtrafficorderobjections@cardiff.gov.uk or by making a written request to the address below.

Notwithstanding the lines/ signs which may be on site, any comments/concerns raised in respect of the above proposals during this consultation period shall be given due consideration.

Any objections and other representations relating to the order must be submitted in writing on or before 12 Ebrill 2025 or by email to roadtrafficorderobjections@cardiff.gov.uk

In the case of an objection this must contain a statement of the grounds on which the objection is made. Correspondence may be disclosed as required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

This Notice may be removed after the objection period ends. 

The Council welcomes correspondence in English and Welsh and we will ensure that we communicate with you in the language of your choice, whether that’s English, Welsh or bilingual as long as you let us know which you prefer. Corresponding in Welsh will not lead to any delay.
