HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

  1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 26ain Mawrth 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 26ain Mawrth 2025 a’r 28ain Mawrth 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 09:00 a 15:00.
  2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu atgyweirio pibell sy’n gollwng dŵr mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
  3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Cymin, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â’r A4136 Heol Staunton am ~125m.
  4. Nid oedd llwybr dargyfeirio wedi’i arwyddo oherwydd nad yw’r ffordd yn llwybr trwodd - bydd mynediad/allanfa’n cael ei gynnal ar y safle gydag ychydig o oedi.
  5. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dro Heol Cymin, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy 2025.
  6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

  1. The Order came into operation on the 26th March 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 26th March 2025 and 28th March 2025, operating between 09:00 – 15:00.
  2. The order was necessary for investigation and repair works to a water leak to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
  3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Kymin Road, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, from its junction with A4136 Staunton Road for ~125m.
  4. There was no signed diversion route due to the road being a no-through route, access/egress will be maintained on site under small delays.
  5. This order may be cited as the Kymin Road, Monmouth, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025
  6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
