NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Church Hill, Writhlington, Radstock from its junction with St Mary’s Rise extending north east to a point outside 190 Church Hill. USRN: 47903364.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out an electricity cable overlay/upgrade on the 24th March 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for NINE DAYS.

(THTTC3713 Summer Lane, Combe Down) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Summer Lane, Combe Down from a point outside the property known as West Marden extending east to a point outside the property known as Withyditch Cottage. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to repair a mains leak on the 24th March 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:30-15:00hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
• A road closure in that length of Little Stanhope Street, Kingsmead, Bath from its junction with A4 Upper Bristol Road extending south to its junction with New King Street/ Stanhope Place. USRN: 47901025.
• A suspension of the one-way restriction on Great Stanhope Street, Kingsmead, Bath to allow two-way traffic.
• A 3.5 tonne weight restriction on Cumberland Row.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace a water cover in the carriageway on the 6th April 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00-16:00hrs only.
