THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)
(FIRST RALEIGH & NORTHAM ROAD, BIDEFORD) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 9/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 7/5/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: First Raleigh & Northam Road, Bideford, First Raleigh (From Junction With Northam Road To Junction With Ford Lands Crescent) & Northam Road (From Junction With First Raleigh To Opposite Valley View)

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Northam Road, Pitt Lane, High Street, Old Town, Medon Street, Torridge Hill, New Road,The Quay, Kingsley Road, Heywood Road, Raleigh Hill, Southcott Road, Kenwith Road, Forlands Crescent & Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Road Closure Required On First Raleigh & Northam Road To Safely Carry Out Gas Mains Replacements Works Due To The Location Of The Main.
