TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HATFIELD 136B
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hatfield 136B, heading west and south from Kennelwood Road to junction with Queensway, for an approximate distance of 150m.
Alternative Route: via Hatfield 136C
The purpose of the Order is to enable regeneration works to take place.
The section of Footpath Hatfield 136B will be closed on or after 04 April 2025 for up to 5 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF POUND LANE AND RECTORY LANE, SHENLEY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

that length of Pound Lane, Shenley from its junction with Rectory Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with B5378 London Road, a distance of approximately 161m.
An alternative route will be via Rectory Lane and B5378 London Road.

that length of Rectory Lane, Shenley from its junction with B5378 London Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 515m.
An alternative route will be via B5378 London Road, Harris Lane and Rectory Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LUTON LANE, REDBOURN)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Luton Lane, Redbourn from its junction with A5183 Redbourn Bypass north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Kinsbourne Green Lane, a distance of approximately 750m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A5183 Redbourn Bypass, B487 Redbourn Road, A1081 (St Albans Road/High Street/Luton Road), The Common and Kinsbourne Green Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ALBION ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Albion Road, St Albans from its junction with A1057 Hatfield Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 17m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A1057 Hatfield Road, Cavendish Road, Cecil Road and Albion Road
or via Albion Road, Cecil Road, Camp Road, B691 Stanhope Road and A1057 Hatfield Road.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRANCH ROAD, PARK STREET) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Branch Road, Park Street from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No. 5 Branch Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN TIPPENDELL LANE, CHISWELL GREEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Tippendell Lane, Chiswell Green from its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout north westwards to its southernmost junction with the service road fronting Nos. 46-60 Tippendell Lane, a distance of approximately 37m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A405 North Orbital Road, B4630 Watford Road and Tippendell Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OVERSTONE ROAD, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Overstone Road, Harpenden from a point in line with the south eastern boundary of No. 55 Overstone Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 61m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Overstone Road, B652 Station Road, Cowper Road, Gilpin Green and Overstone Road.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HARPENDEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

that length of Pickford Hill/Milford Hill, Harpenden from a point in line with the western boundary of No. 1 Whitings Close north eastwards, south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Common Lane, a distance of approximately 525m.
An alternative route will be via Pickford Hill, B653 Lower Luton Road and Common Lane.

that length of Holcroft Road, Harpenden from its junction with Milford Hill north westwards for a distance of approximately 33m.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MARSHALLS HEATH LANE, WHEATHAMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Marshalls Heath Lane, Wheathampstead from its junction with B653 Lower Luton Road north westwards, north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Slype, a distance of approximately 1836m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B653 Lower Luton Road, B651 Lamer Lane and The Slype.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLE LANE SITUATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF MARLBOROUGH ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle lane situated on the east side of Marlborough Road, St Albans from its junction with B691 Victoria Street south westwards for a distance of approximately 60m (“the Cycle Lane”).
Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway.
The Order is needed because gas service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycle Lane.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycle Lane.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRICKET ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bricket Road, St Albans from its junction with B691 Victoria Street north eastwards to its junction with Civic Close, a distance of approximately 97m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B691 Victoria Street, A1081 St Peters Street, A1057 Hatfield Road, Upper Marlborough Road and Bricket Road
or via B691 Victoria Street, Upper Marlborough Road and Bricket Road.
The Order is needed because mobile crane works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of High Street, Redbourn from its junction with Harpenden Lane south eastwards to its junction with Fish Street, a distance of approximately 405m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Harpenden Lane, A5183 Redbourn Bypass and High Street.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
