Walsall - Various Road Traffic Restrictions

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY)

(VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER No.1 APRIL 2025

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding and stopping in that length of:

* WILLOWS ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Princess Avenue to its junction with Lincoln Road. (Tuesday 1 April 2025 and Wednesday 2 April 2025) (09:30 – 15:30).

* BARNS LANE, RUSHALL that is situated from its junction with Kings Road for a distance of 100 metres in an easterly direction. (Wednesday 9 April 2025) (09:30 – 15:30).

* LITTLE ASTON ROAD, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Erdington Road to its junction with Gould Firm Lane. (Thursday 10 April 2025) (19:00 – 06:00).

* GREEN LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Little Aston Road to its junction with A452 Chester Road. (Thursday 10 April 2025) (19:00 – 06:00).

* BEACON ROAD, PHEASEY that is situated from its junction with Collingwood Drive to its junction with A4041 Queslett Road (Friday 11 April 2025) (19:00 – 06:00).

* BOSTY LANE/BARR COMMON ROAD, ALDRIDGE (including junction with Birmingham Road) that is situated from its junction with Quicksand Lane to its junction with Beacon Rise. (Monday 14 April 2025 and Tuesday 15 April 2025) (19:00 – 06:00)

* BROADWAY NORTH, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Lichfield Street to its junction with Arboretum Road. (Tuesday 22 April 2025 to Thursday 24 April 2025)
(20:00 – 06:00).

* ALDRIDGE ROAD, STREETLY that is situated from its junction with B4151 Foley Road West to its junction with Aldridge Road Service Road. (Friday 25 April 2025 and Monday 28 April 2025) (19:00 – 06:00).

* PARK HALL ROAD, PADDOCK that is situated from its junction with Springvale Avenue to its junction with Lonsdale Road. (Sunday 27 April 2025) (08:00 – 17:00).

Reason for order: Carriageway surface dressing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall MBC (Maintenance).

This Order will come into operation on Tuesday 1 April 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes
(viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
