James Road and Crabtree Road (D3431) Camberley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 18 March 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) the north eastbound carriageway of James Road (D3431) Camberley as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.116 and No.118 James Road to its junction with (B3411) Frimley Road; Alternative Route: James Road, Crabtree Road and (B3411) Frimley Road; (b) the north eastbound carriageway of Crabtree Road (D3431) Camberley as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.2 and the property known as “Crabtree Corner” to its junction with (B3411) Frimley Road.
Alternative Route: James Road, and (B3411) Frimley Road.
This Order is required to facilitate refurbishment of traffic signals for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, in 2 phases, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 04 April 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Due to the nature of the works, there will be no vehicular access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
Various Roads in the Boroughs of Guildford and Surrey Heath Run Frimley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or any parts thereof. Such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals.
The Order will come into effect on 04 May 2025, for a period of one day and is required to facilitate the holding of an event on the highway, namely the Run Frimley running event.
The temporary closures specified above will not apply to such vehicles being used in connection with the said event, or to anything done on the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police.
Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services; and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water or electronic communications, to premises in the area; and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic.
Access for essential carers will be allowed with guidance by marshals. No exemption will apply for disabled persons’ vehicles.
The prohibition will only be operative while the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
The Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, vehicular access to premises situated in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save for emergency access as indicated above.
It is anticipated that the temporary closures will apply between the hours of 8.30am and 12pm. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. The Council are also satisfied, in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road.

Schedule
(1) (B3012) Guildford Road, Frimley Green/Deepcut from its junction with Acorn Avenue to its junction with (B3012) Gapemouth Road.
(2) The entire length of (B3012) Gapemouth Road, Pirbright.
(3) (B3012) Gole Road, Pirbright from its junction with (B3012) Gapemouth Road, to its junction with (D45) Vapery Lane.
(4) The entire length of (B3405) Stanley Hill, Pirbright.
(5) (D46) Grange Road, Pirbright from its junction with (B3405) Stanley Hill to its junction with (D46) Tunnel Hill Road.
(6) The entire length of (D46) Tunnel Hill Road, Pirbright.
(7) (D3455) Mytchett Place Road, Pirbright/Normandy from its junction with (D46) Tunnel Hill Road, to its junction with Keogh Close.
(8) The entire length Old Guildford Road, Frimley Green.
D507 Bracken Way, Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D507 Bracken Way, Chobham which extends from its junction with Brockleys eastwards for a distance of 50m.
This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out chamber replacement works and any other associated water works, which is anticipated to be completed within 4 days, between 8am and 4pm within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 14 April 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and the suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route – Brockleys, Oakdene and Mincing Lane or vice versa.
