(Footpath 62, Buckhurst Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close Footpath 62, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest from a point approximately 9 metres from its junction with Cascade Close, northwest for approximately 45 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24 March 2025 to 26 March 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new water connection is undertaken.
Alternative route: Via Cascade Close, Hornbeam Close, Oak Rise, Chestnut Close and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24 March 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Bridleway 31, Bridleway 18, Footpath 20, Footpath 28 Lambourne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close Bridleway 31, Bridleway 18, Footpath 20, Footpath 28, Lambourne in the District of Epping Forest.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 24 March 2025 to 30 May 2025, where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closures are required for the safety of the public, while the replacement of the culvert and headwalls take place. Bridleway 31 will also be resurfaced.
The Order will come into effect on 24 March 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Fyfield Road/Ongar Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Fyfield Road/Ongar Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from the junction of Moreton Road for a distance of approximately 1125m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231012534 – Grebe Construction). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while section 278 carriageway surfacing works are undertaken by Grebe Construction.

Via Fyfield Road, Four Wantz Roundabout, High Ongar Road, High Ongar Road Straightening, Chelmsford Road, Chelmsford Road Straightening, Highwood Road, Ongar Road West, Highwood Road Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Margaretting Road Roundabout, Greenbury Way, Writtle Bypass Roundabout, London Road, Westway, London Road, Rainsford Lane, Parkway, Rainsford Road, Roxwell Road, Roxwell Road Roundabout, Roxwell Road, Bishops Stortford Road, Chelmsford Road, Stortford Road, and Ongar Road, and vice versa.
(Harlow Road, Ongar) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Harlow Road, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 190m southeast of its junction with Wind Hill for a distance of approximately 90m in a south-easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX0410216262 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap and boundary box works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Alternative route: Via High Laver Road, Church Road, Mill Lane, and vice versa (with access only into Harlow Road).
The Order will come into effect on 27th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Sedge Green, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Sedge Green, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Meadgate Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04102160197 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while relay short service pipe works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
Alternative route: Via Sedge Green, Pecks Hill, North Street, Middle Street, Nazeing Common, Common Road, Epping Road, Epping Road Roundabout, Tylers Road, Hamlet Hill, and vice versa (with access only into Sedge Green).
The Order will come into effect on 27th March 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.6) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule of this Order.
- To introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road to facilitate the works. Traffic cones will be installed indicating where the No Waiting, No Loading, and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
- The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction introduced under this Order.
This restriction will temporarily suspend any existing waiting and parking restrictions in force on that length of road as specified in the Schedule during the temporary restrictions.
(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.6) Order 2025
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27th March 2025. Exact dates will be listed on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Harlow as specified in the schedule of this Order.
- To introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction on both sides of the carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating where the No Waiting, No Loading, and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
- The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restriction, suspending any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the affected length of the road.
The works will take place within an 18-month period from 27th March 2025, with exact dates listed on one.network. The road will be closed in phases and reopened after each phase. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be notified via letter/leaflet drop and road signs.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Norwood End, Ongar in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 1100m northwest then north-east then north-west then north-east of its junction with Dunmow Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north-easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th March 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06049749/AP – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
No alternative route is available (with access only into Norwood End).

(Theydon Road, Epping) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Theydon Road, Epping in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Ivy Chimneys for a distance of approximately 700m in a south-westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd April 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WG3C381PTPS801 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
Alternative route: Via Ivy Chimneys, Bridge Hill, Brook Road, Stewards Green Road, Mount Road, Epping Lane, London Road, Passingford Bridge Roundabout, Ongar Road, Abridge Road, Coppice Row, Piercing Hill, Theydon Road, and vice versa.

(York Hill, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of York Hill, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Kings Green to its junction with York Crescent a distance of 50m, in both directions.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st March 2025 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001396373 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas works are undertaken by Cadent.
Alternative route: Via Church Hill, Pump Hill, Queens Road, and vice versa (with access only into York Hill).
