(VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The proposal includes an exemption to the following restriction sites currently enforced by ANPR camera, for Urgent Community Responders* (UCR) carrying out their statutory duties:

* Urgent Community Responders (UCR) means appropriately qualified persons employed by an NHS Trust whose duties include the provision of Urgent Community Response services to the public as defined in the NHS Long Term Plan.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area – Various Streets) (Traffic Management) Order will be further amended as necessary.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 18 April 2025. The Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above variation under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the variation orders is to amend provisions relating to residents’ parking permits & Visitors parking permits as follows:

• Florence Park – exclude No.50 Rymers Lane from eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits & residents’ visitors’ parking permits.

• Lye Valley – exclude a) No.6 Glebelands, and b) No.50 Bulan Road from eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits & residents’ visitors’ parking permits.

• Marston North – excluding No.43 Arlington Drive, and No.82 Raymond Road from eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits & residents’ visitors’ parking permits.

• Iffley – amend a) Nos.1-17 Westbury, and b) all properties in Abberbury Way, Annora Close, Cordrey Green, and Fitzherbert Close for eligibility to apply for resident’s parking permits and residents’ visitors’ parking permits.

• Cowley Central West – Minor administrative amendments will be made as a result of inconsistencies & omissions being identified within the relevant Traffic Regulation Orders.

• Headington Central – a) clarify that property No.4 Lime Walk is eligible to apply for resident’s parking permits and residents’ visitors’ parking permits, with Nos.4a-4h remaining ineligible for both; b) clarify that property No.58 Old High Street is eligible to apply for resident’s parking permits and residents’ visitors’ parking permits; and c) No.58 Old High Street ineligible to apply for resident’s visitors’ parking permits.

• Headington West – amend the description of an existing ‘Permit holders only’ area near the east side of Franklin Road to ensure it matches the bay as currently marked on the ground (i.e., it matches the long curbed marking).

• South Oxford Extension – re-include the existing ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (double yellow lines) west of the Canning Crescent, adjacent to St. Lukes Church into the Order to match the bay marking currently on the ground (i.e. no change to existing markings).

• Waterways – clarify that property Nos.41-141 (odd) and Nos.44-126 (even) Frenchay Road are eligible to apply for residents’ parking permits and residents’ visitors’ parking permits.

As a result, the variation orders will further amend the following:

• The Oxfordshire County Council (Ife Valley Area) (Restricted Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2016

• The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Iffley) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2021

• The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Cowley Central West) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022
