What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Church Street (Part), Calne; from its junction with Mill Street for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repair works and other associated works. Alternative route via Church Street (unaffected length) - A4 - Shelburne Road -Brewers Lane - Anchor Road - Mill Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 and the closure will be required until 24 April 2025. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. B) Five Thorn Lane (Part), Seagry; from its junction with C82 for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out bobcat patching works and other associated works. Alternative route via Five Thorn Lane (unaffected length) - C66 - C82 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. C) UC 916904 (Part), Calne Without and Lacock; from its junction with UC 936901 to outside its property known as Naish Hill Farm to enable Openreach to carry out pole testing and other associated works. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. D) C267 (Part), Wootton Rivers; from its property known as Village Hall for a distance of approximately 70m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repair mains leak and other associated works. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: E) C74 (Part), Great Bedwyn; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Oxenwood Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Oxenwood Road - A338 - A346 - A4 - Knowle Hill - Forest Hill and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 until 02 April 2025. F) A4361 (Part), Avebury; from its property known as Rutlands Farm for a distance of approximately 220m in a southerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out works to install a new service connection and other associated works. Alternative route via A4361 (unaffected length) - A4 - A3102 - B4005 - A4361 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. G) C189 (Part), Baydon; from its junction with Ridgeway View for a distance of approximately 275m in a southerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out to provide 3 poles and other associated works. Alternative route via C29 - C146 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2025 and the closure will be required for 3 days. H) C154 (Part), Kington Langley; from its junction with Days Lane to its junction with B4069 to enable Gigaclear to carry out blockage clearance works and other associated works. Alternative route via B4069 - Kilverts Way - A350 - C154 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2025 and the closure will be required for 2 days. I) A3102 (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett; from its roundabout junction with B4042 to its junction with Longleaze to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out lining work, surfacing work and other associated works. Alternative route via A3102 (unaffected length) - B4005 - A4361 - A4 -A3102 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 11 March 2025 will now recommence on 26 March 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 until 29 March 2025. J) Bay Bridge Layby (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with A346 for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction to enable Thames Water to carry out disconnection of water supply. No alternative route is available. This Order which previously came into operation on 05 February 2025 will now recommence on 25 March 2025 and the closure will be required for 4 days. For further information please contact Thames Water on 0333 996 0672. Orders A) to H) will have a maximum duration of 18 months, Orders I) and J) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: Northgate Street Southbound Carriageway (Part), Devizes; from its junction with New Park Street to its junction with the Market Place, and to temporarily prohibit a right-hand turn manoeuvre from Northgate Street into New Park Street. And to temporarily prohibit a left-hand turn manoeuvre from New Park Street into Northgate Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out critical safety work to secure a damaged building and other associated works. Alternative route via New Park Street - Gains Lane - A342 - Southbroom Road -Long Street - St Johns Street - The Market Place. The closure, restrictions and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Orders which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 27 March 2025 and the closure and restrictions will be required until 27 September 2025. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.56) 2025 (Ref TTRO 10162)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable utility connections, carriageway resurfacing dressing and other associated improvement and maintenance works and will be operative from the 24 March 2025 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 4 weeks but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the

works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 24 March 2025 and 30 June 2025. Schedule 1. B4643 (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Coppice Close to its junction with B4528. 2. B4528 (Part), Chippenham and Lacock; from its junction with B4643 to its roundabout junction with A350. Alternative routes (vice versa) 1. via B4528 - A350 - A4. 2. via A350 - A4- B4643. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: A) Footpath 36 (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Conscience Lane for a distance of approximately 320m in a northerly direction. B) Footpath 63 (Part), Devizes; from its junction with Conscience Lane for a distance of approximately 305m in a north westerly direction to enable National Grid visual impact scheme involving the removal of overhead power lines and installing them underground. No alternative route is available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 March 2025 and the closure will be required until 29 June 2025. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACT 2004 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (NORTHERN WILTSHIRE) (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT NO.3) ORDER 2025 (Previously advertised as 2024) Notice is hereby given that on 12 March 2025 Wiltshire Council made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend The County of Wiltshire (Northern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2022 by introducing Activity Zone Car Park, Malmesbury to the Order, operating Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm 3 hours No return within 3 hours. A copy of the Order can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 24 March 2025.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 SECTION 53 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF CHILTON FOLIAT PATH 6 DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025 On 11 March 2025, Wiltshire Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed will divert Footpath Chilton Foliat 6 situated at Lackbridge Cottage, Littlecote Lane, Chilton Foliat in the parish of Chilton Foliat, leading from OSGR SU 3168-7020, in broadly south south easterly direction for approximately 100m to OSGR SU 3171-7011, to a new route at OSGR SU 3168-7020 leading in a broadly west south westerly direction, over a footbridge, then south south easterly direction for approximately 97m to OSGR SU 3168-7012, the path having a width of 2-3m and the footbridge having a width of 1.4m. And thereupon the Marlborough and Ramsbury Rural District Council Area Definitive Map dated 1952 shall be modified accordingly. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE MARLBOROUGH AND RAMSBURY RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA DATED 1952 AS MODIFIED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL RAMSBURY 9A AND 9B (PART) DEFINITIVE MAP

AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2024 On 07 March 2025 Wiltshire Council confirmed as made the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The above order, made on 16 December 2024 modifies the definitive map and statement for the area by upgrading bridleway Ramsbury 9A to a restricted byway (length approx. 270 metres, width as per the Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map sheet 29.11 1885) from its junction with Ramsbury paths 43, 9 and 8 at Southside Cottage to its junction with Ramsbury paths 52 and 9B at Briary Wood and by upgrading part of footpath Ramsbury 9B to a restricted byway from the junction with 9A at Briary Wood for approximately 314 metres with a width of 10.1 metres to Axford Lane grid ref. SU238691(where it continues unchanged west south west as a footpath) and as shown on the Order plan. A copy of the order and the order plan may be seen free of charge at the Rights of Way Section, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Trowbridge, BA14 8JN 0900 - 1700 weekdays.
