What is happening?
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
A45 DUNCHURCH HIGHWAY, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on A45 Dunchurch Highway commencing from the Coventry Hill Hotel extending approximately 1030m in length from the hotel across the roundabout.
The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Monday 24th March 2025 and is required to enable works including the setting up of a crane in aid of a telecom’s equipment upgrade to take place safely on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 26th March 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS WALL HILL ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Wall Hill Road from its junction with Bridle Brook Lane to its junction with Stonehouse Lane.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 24 March 2025 and is required to enable water connection installation works on Wall Hill Road to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 26 March 2025.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Wall Hill Road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS VARIOUS ROADS
(AS SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE BELOW), COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on the roads detailed in the below Schedule.
The Order would come into effect at 07.00 hours on Monday 31st March 2025 and is required to enable Carriageway maintenance work including resurfacing, repairs, surface treatment and associated works to take place safely on the said roads. The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Tuesday 31st March 2026.
The roads will be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for various durations, to such an extent when prescribed signs are displayed.
The specific closure times for each road would apply as the signage indicates on site. Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site and access to premises would be maintained wherever possible.

PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
CITY OF COVENTRY (ALLESLEY PARK AREA) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order (“the Order”). The Council proposes to introduce a new 20mph speed limit on the lengths of road named below.

PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
CITY OF COVENTRY (CITYWIDE) (PERMITTED PARKING AREA AND SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (DESIGNATION, WAITING RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS, LOADING AREAS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2016 – (VARIATION 13) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Coventry City Council (“the Council”), under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order:-
The Order proposes to implement the following:-
i) A number of road safety concerns have been raised by local residents with regard to problems caused by parking. The problem parking is causing obstructions at junctions and/or reducing visibility of and for exiting vehicles. It is proposed to install waiting restrictions at these locations to prevent parking and improve road safety. In addition, changes are proposed to waiting restrictions, such as adjustments to length of restriction, or new proposals due to traffic management schemes or new developments. These proposals are to improve traffic management and road safety.
ii) As part of the low carbon agenda relating to transport the Council has installed many on street residential charge points across the city.
There are advisory parking bays located alongside the charge points.
It is proposed to install a restriction on some of these advisory bays to permit their use by Electric Vehicles only, whilst charging /topping up batteries, 8am – 10pm (7 days a week).
iii) Following reviews it has been shown that there are some inconsistencies between Orders and restrictions indicated on the ground and these anomalies are being resolved by remaking the Orders.
iv) It is proposed to introduce the following Residents’ Permit Parking Scheme:
CONWAY AVENUE – All properties in Conway Avenue eligible to apply for Zone CY Parking Permits. Properties no. 12 Duggins Lane and no. 9 Tanners Lane eligible to apply for Parking Permits
ELIZABETH WAY – All properties in Elizabeth Way eligible to apply for Zone EL Parking Permits
HATHAWAY ROAD – All properties in Hathaway Road eligible to apply for Zone EL Parking Permits
ST PAULS ROAD – All properties in St Pauls Road eligible to apply for Zone EL Parking Permits
v) It is proposed to extend the existing Residents’ Permit Parking Scheme: Zone SW – to include Church Street
The effect of the proposed Order is to add to, vary or amend the waiting restrictions on certain lengths of the following roads:

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS MONKSWOOD CRESCENT, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Monkswood Crescent from the side of property number 99 for approximately 15 metres.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 31st March 2025 and is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains replacement works on the highway to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23:59 hours on Friday 11th April 2025.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
