Brook Avenue, Wembley, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

BROOK AVENUE, WEMBLEY

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate dismantling a tower crane operation and associated works in Brook Avenue, Wembley, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit:

(a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Brook Avenue, Wembley, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 25 Brook Avenue, Wembley and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 27 and 28 Brook Avenue, Wembley;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the north-eastern footway of Brook Avenue, Wembley, which lies between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 24 and 25 Brook Avenue, Wembley and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 27 and 28 Brook Avenue, Wembley; when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply from 22nd March 2025 to 23rd March 2025, from 29th March 2025 to 30th March 2025 and from 5th April 2025 to 6th April 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. from 22nd March 2025 to 23rd March 2025, with the following dates being backup dates.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Brook Avenue, Wembley will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
