TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Berneslai Close from outside Beckett Grange to Churchfields Close, from 24th March 2025 for approximately 5 days. Access to maintained for residents.
Reason: Enable new connection.

An order will be made to close York Street, Cudworth from outside no. 21 to outside no. 23 from 26 March 2025 for approximately 3 days.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Schwabisch Gmund Way from outside Barnsley interchange to the entrance of interchange car park, from 24th March 2025 for approximately 2 nights, between 22:00 and 06:00.
Reason: Resurfacing works under S278.
An alternative route is available via Harborough Hill Road, Old Mill Lane, Eldon Street North, Schwabisch Gmund Way.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
An order has been made to close Dearne Hall Road, for a distance of 20 metres either side of railway bridge, from 10.00 pm on 24 March 2025 to 6.00 am 27 March 2025.
Reason: maintenance works to railway bridge.

An order has been made to close Ainsdale Road, from Newtown Avenue to side of house number one Greenwood Crescent and Newtown Avenue, from Ainsdale Road to outside house number 36, from 24 March 2025 for approximately one week.
Reason: gas mains replacement works.

Eastfield Lane, from 2 April 2025 for approximately two days, diversion: Pinfold Lane, Thurgoland Hall Lane, Hollin Moor Lane, Bagger Wood Road, Bagger Wood Hill.
Hand Lane, from 3 April 2025 for approximately two days, diversion: Crane Moor Road, Halifax Road (A629), Smithy Hill, Roper Lane, Thurgoland Hall Lane.
Hollin Moor Lane, from 2 April 2025 for approximately two days, diversion: Hood Green Road, Lowe Lane, Gilroyd Lane, Keresforth Road (B6099), High Street (B6099), Dodworth Green Road (B6449), Ben Bank Road (B6449), Knabbs Lane (B6449), Coates Lane (B6449), Copster Lane (A629), Rag Lane (A629), Roper Lane, Thurgoland Hall Lane.
North Lane, from 3 April 2025 for approximately two days, diversion: Lane Head Road (A635), Barnsley Road (A635), Penistone Road (A629), Huddersfield Road (A629), Halifax Road (A629), Crabtree Hill Lane, Renald Lane, Gadding Moor Road and vice versa.
Only one street will be closed at any one time.
Reason: excavate trial holes to locate services.

An order will be made to close Hill Top Road, from Rockley Avenue to Balk Lane, from 31 March 2025 for approximately one week, from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Reason: carriageway resurfacing works.

An order will be made to close Somerset Street from Summer Lane to Buckden Road, on 31st March 2025, for one day only.
