Temporary Traffic Management Order of Monmouth Road, Dorchester

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Monmouth Road Dorchester, for its entirety. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 10 April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 April 2025. Works will take place between 0900 and 1600 and the road will be re-opened to traffic at night and at weekends.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out essential highway

maintenance works.

The effect of the Order will be:

[1] To impose temporary road closure on Monmouth Road for its entirety.

[2] To impose temporary clearway on Monmouth Road for its entirety to prevent vehicles from stopping except those associated with the works.

Please note that any vehicle waiting in contravention of temporary parking restrictions may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. If a vehicle has been removed, the owner must contact the Council's vehicle recovery contractor: Ashleywood Recovery Ltd/Bride Valley Recovery Ltd on 01305 889421.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Dorset Council Notice of Variation Off-Street Parking Places County Hall Car Park, Dorchester -Notice of Variation 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dorset Council in exercise of powers under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and in compliance with Regulation 25 (Part V) Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, by this notice of variation, hereby amend THE DORSET COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (COUNTY HALL CAR PARK, DORCHESTER) ORDER 2024 in the manner set out below but in all other respects the 2024 Order shall remain in full force and effect. The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No.3) Lanehouse Rocks Road and Freemantle Road, Weymouth Order 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the

abovementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. When the Order comes into operation on 28th March 2025 the effect of the Order is to introduce new no waiting at any time restrictions on sections of Lanehouse Rocks Road, from its junction with Cockles Lane in a northeasterly direction on both sides of the road and a section of Freemantle Road with its junction to Lanehouse Rocks Road.

(Main Road), C42 (Mills Road) & D21401 (Upton), Osmington, Owermoigne & Poxwell) (30mph, 40mph and 50mph Speed Limits) (No. 19) Order 2025

Dorset Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 28th March 2025 the effect of the Order will be to revoke part of the 40mph speed limit on the A353 (Main Road) and introduce a 30mph speed limit on parts of the

A353 (Grove Hill) and A353 (Main Road), the C42 (Mills Road) and the D21401 (Upton), a 40mph speed limit on parts of the A353 and A353 (Grove Hill) and a 50mph speed limit on part of the A353 (Grove Hill).
