Kincardine Road - Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane to Facilitate the Installation of Electricity Cables
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000142596321: The City of Manchester (Kincardine Road, Ardwick Ward)(Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Kincardine Road, Junction of Arkley Street to Junction of Whitekirk close. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the installation of electricity cables. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 24th March 2025 to 1st April 2025.
The order shall come into operation on 24th March 2025and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
