Temporary Closing Of Unmetalled Unclass County Road (UCR) Ware Town UCR2

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Unmetalled Unclass County Road (UCR) Ware Town UCR2, heading south from the A10, for an approximate distance of 60m.

Alternative Route: via Ware Town 001

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

The section of Unmetalled Unclass County Road (UCR) Ware Town UCR2 will be closed on or after 04 April 2025 for up to 5 days, when signs are in place.

(Temporary Closing And Temporary Waiting Restrictions In Various Roads In Cheshunt) Order No.2 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Cunningham Road, Cheshunt from its junction with B176 Cheshunt Wash south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Wavell Close, a distance of approximately 307m.

An alternative route will be via B176 High Street, Mill Lane and Wavell Close.

2. that length of Delamare Road, Cheshunt from its junction with Windmill Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Cadmore Lane, a distance of approximately 616m.

An alternative route will be via Windmill Lane, B176 (Turners Hill/High Street) and Cadmore Lane.

3. that length of Rosedale Way, Cheshunt from its junction with the Andrews Lane roundabout south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 690m.

An alternative route will be via Andrews Lane, B156 (Churchgate Road/Goffs Lane) and Rosedale Way.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of Ashendene Road, Bayford) Order 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the westbound carriageway of Ashendene Road, Bayford from its junction with Bayford Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Bayford Road, Brickendon Green, Pembridge Lane, White Stubbs Lane and Ashendene Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of St James Road, Goffs Oak from its junction with Newgatestreet Road north eastwards and south eastwards to a point in line with the eastern boundary of ‘White Gate Cottage’, a distance of approximately 333m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Newgatestreet Road, B156 Goffs Lane, Rosedale Way, Andrews Lane, Rags Lane, Burton Lane and St James Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Whempstead Lane, Dane End from its junction with Whempstead Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Green End Lane, a distance of approximately 1429m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Whempstead Road, A602 Ware Road, Sacombe Pound and Munden Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 April 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbotts/Eastwick from a point 742m north east of its junction with B181 Roydon Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with the A414 Fifth Avenue roundabout, a distance of approximately 3970m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A414 Eastwick Road, A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road/Wadesmill Bypass), A120 (Standon Hill/Kents Lane/Stortford Road/Standon Road/Little Hadham Bypass/Hadham Road), A1184 (Bishops Park Way/St James Way/London Road/Cambridge Road/London Road/Bonks Hill/Harlow Road/Cambridge Road) and A414 (Edinburgh Way/Fifth Avenue).

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Andrews Lane, Rags Lane, Crouch Lane, Rags Lane, Peakes Way, Rosedale Way and Andrews Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hertford Road, Tewin from its junction with Tewin Public Bridleway No.025 north westwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 1011m (“the Road”), except for access.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Cockbush Avenue, Hertford from its junction with A119 Ware Road south eastwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of Fordwich Rise, Hertford from its westernmost junction with B1000 Welwyn Road south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, north eastwards, north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 878m.

An alternative route will be via B1004 Ware Road, B180 (Hunsdon Road/Widford Road/High Road/Stanstead Road/Hunsdon Road), B181 (Roydon Road/High Street/Station Road), A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/London Road/Viaduct Road/Bridge Foot) and B1004 (Star Street/Widbury Hill/Ware Road).

5. that length of Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with B181 Station Road south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Stanstead Road, a distance of approximately 704m.

An alternative route will be via B181 Station Road, A1170 Ware Road, Middlefield Road and Stanstead Road or via B181 Station Road, A1170 (Ware Road/Amwell Street/Dinant Link Road), Burford Street and Stanstead Road.

6. the service road fronting Nos.5-17 Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Hoddesdon Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 13m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of The Granary, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Hoddesdon Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 11m.

8. that length of B1502 Stanstead Road, Great Amwell/Rush Green from its junction with Downfield Road north westwards to its junction with A414 Rush Green roundabout, a distance of approximately 359m.

An alternative route will be via B1502 Stanstead Road, A1170 (Pepper Hill/Amwell Hill/London Road), A119 (London Road/Hertford Road/Ware Road) and B1502 Stanstead Road.

9. the parking area situated on the south west side of Chapelfields, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Chapelfields south westwards for its entire length.

23. the northbound carriageway of A119 Amwell End, Ware from its junction with A119 Hertford Road north eastwards to its junction with Broadmeads, a distance of approximately 65m.

An alternative route will be via A119 Hertford Road, A1170 (Viaduct Road/Bridge Foot) and A119 Amwell End or via Hertford Road, A1170 Viaduct Road and Station Road.

24. that length of B1197 London Road, Hertford Heath from its junction with B1197 Hertford Road north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 1004m.

An alternative route will be via B1197 Hertford Road, A1170 Ware Road, B1502 Stanstead Road, A414 Rush Green Link and B1197 London Road.

25. the service road leading to Nos.424-440 Goffs Lane, Goffs Oak from its westernmost junction with B156 Goffs Lane north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 105m.

An alternative route will be via B156 Goffs Lane.

26. that length of Rattys Lane, Hoddesdon from its junction with the Essex Road/Stephenson Close roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 64m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

27. that length of Winterscroft Road/Langton Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Norris Lane south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whitehands Close, a distance of approximately 309m.

An alternative route will be via Norris Lane, Westfield Road, B1197 Hertford Road, A1170 Amwell Street, Amwell Street, Pauls Lane, Taverners Way, Lord Street and Langton Road.

28. that length of Norris Lane, Hoddesdon from its junction with Cillocks Close south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

An alternative route will be via High Street, Conduit Lane, A1170 (Charlton Way/Dinant Link Road), Amwell Street, Pauls Lane and Taverners Way.

33. that length of Park Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Lowfield Lane westwards for a distance of approximately 47m.

An alternative route will be via Lowfield Lane, Brocket Road, Park View and Park Road.

34. that length of Taverners Way, Hoddesdon from its junction with Brocket Road northwards, eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Lord Street, a distance of approximately 259m.

An alternative route will be via Brocket Road, Rose Vale and Lord Street.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1. that length of Cromwell Road, Ware from its junction with Cobham Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 34m.

An alternative route will be via Cromwell Road, Lower Clabdens, Cozens Road, Woodley Road and Cromwell Road.

2. that length of Cobham Road, Ware from its junction with Cromwell Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 15m.

An alternative route will be via Cromwell Road, Lower Clabdens, Cozens Road and Cobham Road.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of The Footpath Situated Between No.49 And No.81 Hamels Drive, Hertford) Order 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.49 and No.81 Hamels Drive, Hertford from a point in line with the western boundary of No.35 Hamels Drive north eastwards for a distance of approximately 31m (“the Footpath”).

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between No.49 and No.81 Hamels Drive, the footpath situated between No.23 and No.33 Hamels Drive, the footway situated on the south side of Hamels Drive and the footpath situated between No.49 and No.81 Hamels Drive.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpath.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 March 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rye Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with Fishermans Way south westwards to its junction with Plumpton Road, a distance of approximately 107m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Fishermans Way, Normandy Way, Pindar Road, Essex Road, A1170 (Dinant Link Road/Amwell Street/Ware Road), Middlefield Road, Stanstead Road and Rye Road.

The Order is needed to enable a crane to be placed on the highway to carry out the installation of new stairs near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 March 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

The making of Traffic Regulation Orders is a statutory function of the County Council.
