Reason: Public safety due to hazardous defects with bollards not footpath resurfacing.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Various Footpaths in Shelsley Walsh and Footpath CT-603, Clifton on Teme) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close footpath CT-603, Clifton on Teme and Footpaths SW-503, SW-504, SW-505, SW-509, Shelsley Walsh for their entire lengths.

Reason: The Order is being made to allow Hill Climb (motoring) events run by the Midland Automobile Club.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: No vehicular access. Closure on event days.

Events include but are not limited to:

• 4 May, 5-6 May, 11-12 May, 17-18 May, 25-26 May, 7-8 June, 21-22 June, 28-29 June, 5-6 July, 19-20 July, 10 August, 23-24 August, 30-31 August, 3-8 September, 14 September, 5-6 October.

Highways Act 1980, Section 25

(Creation of Public Right of Way – 738 on the West Side of Woodgreen Drive and Bishops Wood, Warndon)

Notice is hereby given that on 8 August 2024, Worcestershire County Council entered into an Agreement under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 with The Parish Council of Warndon to provide a public bridleway.

The Agreement dedicates land at The Parish of Warndon to the public, and the way is to be known as Public Right of Way 738.

The bridleway will run east to west, north of Woodgreen Drive, connecting Plantation Drive to Bishops Wood, at a width of not less than 3 meters.

A copy of the Agreement and its related documents may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester WR5 2NP, during normal office hours.

Under Section 31(6) of the 1980 Act, the Agreement came into effect on 8 August 2024.
