(U11000 Arley Lane/ U11001 Rectory Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – U11000 Arley Lane from its junction with U11037 Cedar Ct for a distance of 286 meters in a north westerly direction.
Closure 2 – U11001 Rectory Lane from its junction with U11000 Arley Ln for a distance of 50 meters in a westerly direction.
Reason: Safe working by BT.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Closure 1: Diversion – U11000 Arley Ln (part), B4194 Ribbesford Rd, A451 Dunley Rd, U11000 Arley Ln (part) and vice versa.
Closure 2: Diversion (Eastbound) – U11001 Rectory Ln (part), A451 Dunley Rd, U11000 Arley Ln (part).
Closure 2 Diversion (Westbound) – U11001 Rectory Ln (part), A451 Dunley Rd, B4194 Ribbesford Rd, U11000 Arley Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 24 days.
Commencing: 24 March 2025.
(A451 Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of A451 Stourbridge Road from its junction with U12448 Service Road at 11236 Parkgate Road to its junction with U31261 Laxmi.
Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Anticlockwise diversion – A451 Stourbridge Road (part), A451 Stourbridge Road, A449 Chester Road North, A456 St Marys Ringway, A456 Coventry Street, A456 The Ringway, A451 Stourbridge Road, A451 Horse Fair, A451 Blackwell Street, A456 St Mary’s Ringway, A456 The Ringway, A456 Worcester Road, A449 Worcester Road, A449 Chester Road – A451 Stourbridge Road.

(U32336 Mallory Drive, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U32336 Mallory Drive from its junction with U31231 Platinum Drive to its junction with U32335 Goldthorn Road.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U32336 Mallory Drive, U31231 Platinum Drive, U31233 Sutton Park Road, U32335 Mallory Drive (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 1-2 days.
Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U11400 Kingsway, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11400 Kingsway from its junction with A451 Minster Road for a distance of 150 meters in a north westerly direction.
Reason: Construction of a Zebra crossing and traffic calming features along with carriageway resurfacing including high friction surfacing and road markings by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11400 Kingsway (part), U11412 Windermere Way, A451 Minster Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs except weekends).
Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(C2016 Drakelow Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2016 Drakelow Lane from its junction with C2019 Wolverley Village to its junction with C2015 Sladd Lane.
Reason: Pole replacement by BT.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2016 Drakelow Lane (part), C2015 Sladd Lane, B4189 Shatterford Lane, B4189 Wolverley Road, C2019 Wolverley Village, C2016 Drakelow Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 24 March 2025.
(C2189 Boraston Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2189 Boraston Road from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road for a distance of 120 meters in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Heightington Road, C2191 The Grovenor, C2193 Porhorough Road, C2189 Boraston Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days.
Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U13601 Barrow Hill Lane, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U13601 Barrow Hill Lane from its junction with C2017 Drayton Road for a distance of 150 meters in a southerly direction.
Reason: Safe access by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2017 Drayton Road, U13665 Chaddesley Lane, U13601 Burrows Green Road, U13601 Barrow Hill Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 11 April 2025.
(C2194 Deslandes Lane C2216 Lye Head Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – C2194 Deslandes Lane from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road to its junction with Porters Lane (NSG Ref 873/01318).
Closure 2 – C2216 Lye Head Road from its junction with Porters Lane (NSG Ref 873/01318) to its junction with A456 Lowe Hill.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Lowe Hill, C2021 Bisgale Road, C2021 Heightington Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days.
Commencing: Between 26 March 2025 and 3 April 2025.
(C2021 Dunley Road/C2021 Heightington/C2021 Dingle, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – C2021 Dunley Road from its junction with U11011 Netherton Lane to its junction with C2021 Heightington Road.
Closure 2 – C2021 Heightington Road from its junction with C2021 Dunley Road to its junction with C2021 Dingle.
Closure 3 – C2021 Dingle from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road to its junction with C2021 B4196.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple sites by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11011 Netherton Lane, U2011 Abberley, C2071, C2018 Back, B4202 Clows, C2189 Netherton Road, C2193 Porhorough Road, C2189 Quarry Road, C2189 Boraston Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days.
Commencing: Between 14 April 2025 and 30 April 2025.
(U11118 Hermitage Way/U11100 Redstone Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U11118 Hermitage Way from its junction with B4196 Areley Common to its junction with U11100 Redstone Lane.
Closure 2 – U11100 Redstone Lane from its junction with U11118 Hermitage Way to its junction with B4196 Areley Common.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4196 Areley Common and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: Between 14 April 2025 and 30 April 2025.
(Link Footpath F10581 New Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F10581 New Road from its junction with U11235 Castle Rd for a distance of 35 meters in a northerly direction along the Link Footpath F10581 New Road.
Reason: Footway repairs by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U12147 New Rd (Northbound), Pedestrian Crossing, U12147 New Rd (Southbound) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months.
Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs).

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025
Prohibition of Waiting on Habberley Road, St. Johns Avenue and Briars Gardens, Kidderminster
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:
- Habberley Road (south side): From its junction with St. Johns Avenue for a distance of 11 meters in a north westerly direction and 12 meters in an easterly direction.
- Habberley Road (North side): From its junction with Briars Gardens (private road) for a distance of 9 meters in a north westerly direction and 7 meters in an easterly direction.
- Briars Gardens (private road) (both sides): From its junction with Habberley Road for a distance of 7 meters in a north easterly direction.
- St. Johns Avenue (east side): From its junction with Habberley Road for a distance of 14 meters in a southerly direction.
- St. Johns Avenue (west side): From its junction with Habberley Road for a distance of 14 meters in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (to include new provisions for enforcement/contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will amend existing parking bays used by disabled persons’ vehicles.
Documents in relation to this Order and copies of the Order may be inspected at County Hall Worcester, or copies downloaded from Worcestershire County Council’s website. Objections/support representations must be in writing stating the grounds on which they are made, sent to Worcestershire County Council, Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT (or by email to roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk) to be received by 17 April 2025.
SECTION 23 ESTABLISHMENT OF A ZEBRA CROSSING ON KINGSWAY, STOURPORT ON SEVERN
NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a Zebra Crossing to serve pedestrians in Stourport on Severn as follows:
Zebra Crossing to be located on U11400 Kingsway, Stourport on Severn at a point 12.3 meters northeast of its junction with Stourport Sports Club access road.
A plan showing these proposals may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours or alternatively can be downloaded at Wyre Forest Public Notice Page or copies supplied by emailing roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk until 9 April 2025.
