What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING,
LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING
PLACES) (VARIATION NO. _) ORDER 202_ - TRO/24/26

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: 1. Introduce disabled bays on Lismore Cres, Gilmerton Dykes Vw, Portobello Rd, Wardieburn St E. Longstone Gro, Longstone St, Longstone Rd, Ransome Gdns, Cleric’s Hill, Oxgangs Ln, E Trinity Rd, Ferniehill Dr, Ryehill Ter, Old Farm Ct, E Brighton Cres, Stewart Clark Ave, Salvesen Gdns, Canalside, Clovenstone Dr, Clovenstone Gdns, Gracemount Dr, Oxgangs Grn, Boswall Parkway, Ferniehill St, Parkhead Ave, Plewlands Ave, Deanpark Gdns, Kingsknowe Pl, Newhaven Rd, Cameron Pk, at the rear of numbers 7-13 Sandpiper Dr, Craighouse Ter, Piershill Square E, Piershill Square W, Meadowfield Dr & Oxgangs Vw; 2. Replace a permit holder only bay with disabled bays on Craiglea Dr, Leven Ter; 3. Replace a Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm waiting restriction with a disabled bay on Duke Pl; 4. Replace 19m of permit holder only bay with a 24/7 waiting restriction, and extend the existing disabled bay by removing 26.8m of permit holder only bay on Junction Pl and 5. Extend existing disabled bays on Ferniehill Dr, Northfield Cres & Gilmerton Dykes Ave. Details of the draft Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed online at streets.

Documents can also be viewed at Waverley Court Reception, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG between 9:30am & 3:30pm Mon-Fri during the same period. Objectors must complete the form found via the “Proposals in consultation” link referred to above, or state their reasons in writing quoting reference TRO/24/26 to Traffic Orders at the above address, not later than 11/04/2025. Objections should state the name and address of the objector. If you are responding to this consultation and your comments or objection relate to any specific location/s or element/s of the proposal, it would be helpful if you could identify them in your submission.
