Notice of Variation of parking charges at off-street car parks in Lewes Town and Lewes district
NOTICE is hereby given by East Sussex County Council on behalf of Lewes District Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends to vary the charges for car parking in accordance with this notice in the following off-street car parks in Lewes district:-
Short stay:- LEWES – Cliffe High Street, Friars Walk, Market Lane, South Street North, West Street. Medium stay:- LEWES – East Street, Little East Street, Westgate Street. NEWHAVEN – West Quay.
Long stay:- LEWES – Brook Street, The Maltings, Mountfield Road, Phoenix Cause Way, Pinwell Road, Spring Gardens. NEWHAVEN – Dacre Road, Lower Place, West Quay. SEAFORD – Richmond Road, Saxon Lane, Sutton Road.

The changes to the parking charges will come into effect from 14 April 2025
No charges apply on bank holidays
