Priory, Temporary Road Closure Due To Resurfacing Works

What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Priory

Somerset Council In exercise of Its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Priory -from the junction with Kelway Road, southwards for a total distance of 147 metres. This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out resurfacing and prep works and behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 3rd April 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th April 2025 and last until 11th April 2025 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 for a total of 5 days.
