What is happening?

PARKING PLACES ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Sections 32 & 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The Order will have the effect of providing a parking bay for authorised police vehicles for the purpose of mobile speed enforcement along the length of road specified in The Schedule.
Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the affected lengths of road and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton-on-Tees during normal opening hours and on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders). If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to Network and Traffic Team Leader, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Dunedin House, Columbia Drive, Thornaby, Stockton on-Tees, TS17 6BJ or HTD@Stockton.gov.uk by 10th April 2025.
The Schedule - Parking Bay for Authorised Police Vehicles Only
Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe - from its junction with Muirfield Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 65m.
