What is happening?

Temporary Orders

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Road From Barkla Farm To Mithian, St Agnes) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th April 2025 to 18th April 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Barkla Farm To Mithian, St Agnes between the property named The Corner House and grid reference SW73966 50612.

The County of Cornwall (Cam Lane, Carnkie) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carnkie. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 31st March 2025 to 4th April 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Cam Lane, Carnkie between grid reference SW68504 40278 and the junction of South Carn Brea.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 13th March 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 35, Redruth for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a dangerous wall and tree.

The Order will come into operation on 14th March 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 10th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 21st February 2025 fora period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Shortlanesend. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th April 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Forge Way, Shortlanesend between the property named Trevella and the junction of Ashley Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th April 2025 to 17th April 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Maenporth Road, Falmouth between the junctions of Hard To Come By Farm and Maen Valley Park.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Keverne. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd April 2025 to 3rd April 2025.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Marsden Farm To Junction West Of Wayside, St Keverne between grid reference SW79729 21411 and the junction of Treloyan.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Porkellis. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 31st March 2025 for one day.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Medlyn, Porkellis between the property named Lower Medlyn and grid reference SW71027 34060.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanner. This prohibition is necessary for general manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th April 2025 to 17th April 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Pennance Road, Lanner from junction with Pennance Lane to near property known as Pros Kairon.
