TRAFFIC CALMING SCHEME

RAISED TABLES IN BROOKLEY ROAD, BROCKENHURST

Hampshire County Council proposes implementing a traffic calming scheme as follows:

EFFECT OF SCHEME: The provision of raised tables on Brookley Road in Brockenhurst as follows:

(i) The table will have an overall height of 100mm, with slope lengths of 1,500mm and a gradient of 1:15 on both its eastern and western ramps. The table-top length shall be 14.5 metres and extend the entire width of the carriageway. It shall be located between a point 3 metres west of its junction with Brookley Road Car Park and a point 18 metres west thereof.

(Opening hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:45 - 17:15; Friday: 08:45 - 16:45)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ

(Opening hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:30 - 17:15; Friday: 08:30 - 16:45)

OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned, quoting reference A2096b/DL, by Friday, 11th April 2025.

All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Persons wishing to make objections or other representations are advised that in the traffic calming implementation process, objections or representations may become publicly available, including the names and addresses of those making submissions.
