Coillesdene Area, Portobello - Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation

(COILLESDENE AREA, PORTOBELLO) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/13

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate junction improvement works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on: (i) Coillesdene Drv, from Coillesdene Ave to Woodside Ter; (ii) Coillesdene Ave, in its entirety; (iii) Coillesdene Cres, from Milton Rd East to Coillesdene Gdns; (iv) Eastfield Gdns, in its entirety; (v) Milton Drv, in its entirety; & (vi) Milton Ter, in its entirety, provided that no more than one of the measures described in this section be enacted at any time; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Coillesdene Drv, from Coillesdene Ave to Woodside Ter; (ii) Coillesdene Ave, in its entirety; (iii) Coillesdene Cres, from Milton Rd East to Coillesdene Gdns; (iv) Eastfield Gdns, in its entirety; (v) Milton Drv, in its entirety; & (vi) Milton Ter, in its entirety. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b).The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via: (i) Coillesdene Drv – Woodside Ter, Morton St & Coillesdene Ave; (ii) Coillesdene Ave – Eastfield, Seaview Ter, Musselburgh Rd, Joppa Rd & Morton St; (iii) Coillesdene Cres – Coillesdene Gdns, Coillesdene Ave, Milton Drv & Milton Rd East; (iv) Eastfield Gdns – Milton Rd East, Eastfield & Coillesdene Ave; or Milton Rd East, Milton Ter & Coillesdene Ave; (v) Milton Drv – Milton Rd East, Milton Ter & Coillesdene Ave; & (vi) Milton Ter – Milton Rd East, Milton Drv & Coillesdene Ave; or Milton Rd East, Eastfield Gdns & Coillesdene Ave. The following roads have no available diversion, where local access will be maintained: Coillesdene Grv, Eastfield Gdns (cul-de-sac only), Milton Grv & Coillesdene Ln. The order shall have effect from 24/3/25 to 11/7/25.
