What is happening?

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (High Haden Road, Cradley Heath) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along High Haden Road between the extended boundaries of No’s 43/45 to No’s 47/49. Traffic will be diverted via High Haden Crescent and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 26/03/2025 effective from 24/03/2025. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Causeway Green Road, Oldbury) (Temporary One-Way Road Closure, Left Turn Ban & Right Turn Ban) Order 2025

has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Causeway Green Road, which will be closed in a south-westerley direction from its junction with Wolverhampton Road to the dividing line of property No’s 267 & 269 (22/03/2025 - 23/03/2025). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A right turn ban will also be in place at Wolverhampton Road for traffic travelling in a southerly direction at the junction of Causeway Green Road for the duration of the Causeway Green Road closure (22/03/2025 - 23/03/2025). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A left turn ban will also be in place at Wolverhampton Road for traffic travelling in a northerly direction at the junction of Causeway Green Road for the duration of the Causeway Green Road closure (22/03/2025 - 23/03/2025). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A traffic diversion route will be signed for the Causeway Green Road one-way road closure via Wolverhampton Road and Pound Road. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 23/03/2025 effective from 22/03/2025 (24hrs). Purpose – to facilitate access for a new gas connection by Cadent Gas Ltd. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Dudley Road, Tipton) (Temporary One-Way Road Closure) Order 2025

has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding one-way in a northerly direction along

Dudley Road between the junctions of New Birmingham Road to Vernon Avenue (southern side). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via New Birmingham Road (northbound) and Sedgley Road West. Traffic will also be diverted via

New Birmingham Road (southbound), Burnt Tree, Dudley Port, Sedgley Road

East, Park Lane West and Sedgley Road West. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 30/03/2025 effective from 24/03/2025 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to install ducting for a high voltage service cable by National Grid Electricity Distribution.
