TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
ORDER 2024
BEDFORD ROAD, KEMPSTON 24 - 142
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Bedford Road, Kempston from the junction of Halsey Road for approx 50m.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate repairs to carriageway and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:30 to 15:00 hours from 14th April 2025 to 18th April 2025
The proposed Order will come into operation on 14th April 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Bedford Borough Council Tel: 01234 718003.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough
Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Spring Road, Kempston outside 2.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate a new water supply and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 19th April 2025 to
20th April 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Bedford Road, Bunyan Road, Elstow Road, Spring Road.
The reverse route applies.
