What is happening?
CHURCH LANE N17 - WAITING RESTRICTION AMENDMENTS
The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.17) Order 2025 The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.14) Order 2025 T23
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 12th March 2025 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45,46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Orders would be: To make the following changes to the locations listed below:
1. To install double yellow kerb blips (no loading at any time restrictions) on the existing double yellow lines (at any time waiting restrictions) on the east side of Church Lane N17, between the junction with Lordship Lane and a point opposite the southern side of the junction with All Hallows Road.
2. To install double yellow kerb blips on the existing double yellow lines at the south side of the junction between Church Lane and All Hallows Road N17 (outside and adjacent to No.18).
3. To install 38.1 metres of double yellow lines/double yellow kerb blips on the west side of Church Lane N17, through the existing school keep clear markings continuing south and shortening the adjacent permit holders only parking bay outside Rising Stars nursery by approximately 10 metres.
4. To install 10 metres of double yellow lines on the west side of Church Lane N17 between the permit holders only bays outside No.12.
5. To replace the existing single yellow lines on the west side of Church Lane N17 adjacent to the electricity station with 29.8 metres of double yellow lines/double yellow kerb blips, shortening the permit holder/ doctor permit holder only bays by 2.5 metres.
6. To extend the school keep clear markings adjacent to No.18 All Hallows Road on Church Lane N17 to a length of 20.5 metres (this is purely an administrative change to ensure accuracy of our records which will result in no physical changes on site).
Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 5th April 2025. Further details: an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, or can be viewed online at https://streets.appyway.com/haringey once operational.
Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
