Almondvale Park - Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation to Enable Special Bridge Inspection Works
What is happening?
THE WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL (ALMONDVALE PARK, LIVINGSTON) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TTO/25/136
The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the undernoted footpaths will be closed from 0001hrs on 31 March to 2359hrs on 8 April 2025 to enable special bridge inspection works to be carried out. Pedestrians will be diverted as shown below.

FOOTPATH CLOSURES
Location: Sports Centre Footbridge, Almondvale Park, Livingston: (1) entirety of Sports Centre footbridge; and (2) northern riverside footpath under Sports Centre footbridge
Diversion: Bridge footpath closure: Travel east on northern footpath to access Civic Centre Bridge. Follow footpath westwards passed skate park to southern side of bridge and vice versa.
Northern riverside footpath closure: Diversion via unnamed path adjacent to north abutments and vice versa.
