ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14

(ARNSIDE CRESCENT, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 66) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out new connection to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Arnside Crescent,

Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Arnside Crescent.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Austin Road, Arnside Crescent & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 26th March 2025 to 27th March 2025 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length  of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MARSH END, KNOTTINGLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 67) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out work on existing poles to provide overhead cables to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Marsh End, Knottingley. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Marsh End.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Marsh End, The Croft, Weeland Road, Fernley Green Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

26th March 2025 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(STATION LANE, FEATHERSTONE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 68) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow drainage jetting works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Station Lane,

Featherstone, 20 meters either side of the railway line. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Station Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Station Lane, Green Lane, Common Side Lane, Wakefield Road and Vice Versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd March 2025 from 00:05 hours to 06:00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length  of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(SKINNER LANE, PONTEFRACT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 80) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to replace faulty high voltage mains to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Skinner Lane, Pontefract. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Skinner Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Lady Balk Lane, Monkhill Lane, Mill Dam Lane, North Baileygate, Northgate, Skinner Lane & vice versa. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

7th April 2025 to 17th April 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(AKETON ROAD, CASTLEFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO.84) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow surface dressing treatment and periodic sweeping works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Aketon Road, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length  of Aketon Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A639 Leeds Road and A655 Lumbly Street and vice versa

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th April 2025 until 19th May 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length  of road will be maintained whenever possible. Dated this 20th day of March 2025
