HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Gaerfyrddin yn bwriadu, nid heb fod yn llai na saith niwrnod wedi dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y Ffordd Dosbarth III ag arwydd yn Gastell Carreg Cennen yn ei chryfanrwydd, o’i gyffordd â’r Ffordd Dosbarth III yn Llandyfan am bellter o oddeutu 495 metr i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain, gan ddod i ben wrth y groesffordd sy’n arwain i Trap.

Lle bo’n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau.

Y Ffordd Arall ar gyfer traffig sydd am deithio tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain fydd parhau i gyfeiriad y gogledd-orllewin ar hyd y Ffordd Dosbarth III sy’n arwain i Derwydd. Parhau drwy bentref Derwydd hyd at y gyffordd â’r A483 Ffair-fach. Trowch i’r dde wrth y gyffordd a pharhau i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogledd ar hyd yr A483 am bellter o tua 4.7km, gan fynd mewn i Ffair-fach a pharhau hyd at y goleuadau. Trowch i’r dde i Heol Bethlehem a pharhau am bellter byr hyd at y Ffordd Dosbarth III sydd ag arwydd am Gastell Carreg Cennen, sy’n arwain i Trap. Trowch i’r dde a pharhau ar hyd y Ffordd Dosbarth III tuag at Trap hyd at Bont Trap. Trowch i’r dde eto ar ôl Pont Trap a pharhau ar hyd y Ffordd Dosbarth III sy’n arwain i Flaengeche i ddychwelyd i ran sydd i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau.

Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd Dwr Cymru wedi cwblhau gwaith i osod pibell nwyf gyflenwad dwr newydd.

Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau ddydd Llun 31 Mawrth 2025, am gyfnod o 15 diwrnod.

Bydd lle bo’n briodol gael Gorchmynion Rheoleiddio Traf?g dros-dro barhau mewn grym am hyd at ddeunaw mis.

(Entire Length of the Class II Road leading from Blaengeche to Trapp)

(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Carmarthenshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the entire length of the Class III Road signposted Carreg Cennen Castle, commencing from its junction with the Class III Road in Llandyfan for a distance of approximately 495 metres in a north-easterly direction, ending at the crossroads leading to Trapp.

Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route for north-east bound traffic will be to proceed north-west along the Class III Road leading to Derwydd. Continue along the village of Derwydd to its junction with the A483 Ffairfach. Turn right at the junction and continue in a general northerly direction along the A483 for a distance of approximately 4.7km, entering into Ffairfach and continuing to the light. Turn right on to Bethlehem Road and continue for a short distance to the Class III Road signposted Carreg Cennen Castle, leading to Trapp. Turn right and continue along the Class III Road to the village of Trapp Bridge. Take the next right after Trapp Bridge and continue along the Class III Road leading to Blaengeche to return to a point of the closure.

The proposed Order will continue in force until Welsh Water complete works to install a new water mains pipe.

It is intended that the works will commence on Monday the 31st of March 2025, for a period of 15 days.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
