(U30302 Castle Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U30302 Castle Street from its junction with C2038 Church Road to its junction with C2038 Feckenham Road.
Reason: Chamber damaged drainage pipe and the installation of inspection chambers by WCC.
Alternative route: C2038 Church Road, C2038 Feckenham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U31038 Edward Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and the Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 (Temporary Suspension part) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U31038 Edward Street from its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with U31035 Ida Road and to temporarily (partly) suspend the Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 to allow access to residents and businesses on Edward Street in the direction from south to north for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Carriageway/footway resurfacing by Norcon Construction Ltd.
Alternative route: U31000 Bromsgrove Road, U31028 Hewell Road, U31031 Clater Road, U31035 Ida Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U23406 Headley Heath Lane, Headley Heath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U23406 Headley Heath Lane from its junction with U23404 Bil Green Lane for a distance of 240 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Drainage works for flood alleviation by WCC.
Alternative route: U23403 Bil Green Lane, C2107 Inkberrow Road, U23406 Headley Heath Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 24 March 2025.
(C20001 Hill Lane, Abberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C20001 Hill Lane from its junction with C2042 Weley Ln to its junction with U23411 Inkberrow.
Reason: New water connection by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: Detour via Alcester Road, C2042 Weley Ln, A435 Alcester Road (Northbound), A435 Alcester Road (Southbound), C2042 Weley Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 10 April 2025.
(U31031 Hewell Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U31031 Hewell Road from its junction with U31028 Hewell Road to its junction with U31204 Clater Road.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Alternative route: U31204 Clater Road, B4100 Birmingham Rd, U31028 Hewell Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (21:00hrs to 06:00hrs).
(Link Footpath F30598 Matchborough Way) (Adjacent Social Club, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30598 Matchborough Way (adjacent Social Club) from its junction with U32400 Matchborough Way to its junction with A435 Birmingham Road (in Warwickshire).
Reason: Footpath overlay by WCC.
Alternative route: A435 Birmingham Road (in Warwickshire), Link Footpath F30431 (near no.2 Almsmore), Link Footpath F30429 Windmar Road (rear no.21), Link Footpath F30415 Farmborough Close (opps no.1 Bradford Close), Link Footpath F30432 Farmborough Close (opps no.1 to Link Footpath F30397 Haselcy Close), U30395 Haselcy Close, Link Footpath F30397 Haselcy Close (Slipway), Link Footpath F30396 Eastgrove Close (Slipway), Link Footpath F30597 Franklin Close (opps no.56) to Matchborough Way and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4497 Icknield Street (Southbound Only) from its junction with B14101 Dagnell End Road to its junction with B4497 Paper Mill Drive.
Reason: Road surface overlay by WCC.
Alternative route: B14101 Dagnell End Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, B4497 Icknield Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U23141 Meadow Road/U23148 School Drive, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of:
- Closure 1 – U23141 Meadow Road from its junction with U23148 School Drive to its junction with U23148 School Drive.
- Closure 2 – U23148 School Drive from its junction with U23141 Meadow Road to its junction with U23148 School Drive.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U23141 Meadow Road (part), U23140 Gorsey Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 14 April 2025.
(U23202 Chapel Lane, Rowney Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U23202 Chapel Lane from its junction with C2034 Rowney Green Lane to its junction with U23202 Gravel Pit Lane.
Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.
Alternative route: U23202 Chapel Lane (part), C2034 Rowney Green Lane, U23202 Gravel Pit Lane, U23202 Chapel Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 10 April 2025.
(U33200 Studley Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U33200 Studley Road from its junction with U33324 Bartlam Way to its junction with U33322 Warwick Highway.
Reason: Zebra crossing installation by WCC.
No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: U33200 Studley Rd (part), U33200 Holloway Ln, U13100 Burton Ln, U13149 Ilns Dr, C2101 Holloway Dr, C2123 Greenlands Dr, C2134 Woodrow Dr, C2134 Washford Dr, U2010 Old Forge Dr, U33216 Howard Rd, U33200 Studley Rd (part) and vice versa.

(C2041 Station Road, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2041 Station Rd from its junction with C2041 Lea Green Ln to its junction with Innsfree Ct (NGR 40752182).
Reason: New customer connection by Cadent Gas.
Alternative route: C2041 Lea Green Ln, C2036 Houndsfield Ln, C2180 Alcester Rd, C2041 Station Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 25 March 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Link Footpath F30218 Woodcote Close, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that an Order was made by Worcestershire County Council on 8 March 2024, the effect of which is to close that part of Link Footpath F30218 Woodcote Close adjacent to its junction with U33218 Windrush Close together with that part of Link Footpath F30218 which lies to the rear of the Police Sub Station with the effect to expire on 23 March 2026 or after such time as works to which the Order relates have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
Reason: The Order has been made to enable development works by Green Square Accord.
Alternative route: Link Footpath F30218 Woodcote Close (side near electric Sub Station), Link Footpath F30212 Wheelers Lane, U33218 Windrush Close and vice versa.
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 Variation Order 2025
Prohibition of Waiting on Vicarage Crescent & Bromsgrove Road, Redditch
On 6 March 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:
- Vicarage Crescent (Eastern Side): From its junction with Bromsgrove Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
- Bromsgrove Road (Southeast Side): From its junction with Vicarage Crescent for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.
- Southwest Side: From its junction with Vicarage Crescent for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking places for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 27 March 2025.
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 Variation Order 2025
Prohibition of Waiting on Whywood Drive and Walkwood Road, Redditch
On 6 March 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:
- Walkwood Road (Northern Side): From its junction with Whywood Drive for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.
- Southern Side: From its junction with Whywood Drive for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
- Whywood Drive (Eastern Side): From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction.
- Western Side: From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 14.4 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking places for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 27 March 2025.
