(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C3 Horncliffe House Junction to Longridge Towers Junction from its junction with the U11 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 70 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th March 2025 until the 2nd April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 26th March 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd April 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C3, C2, A698 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Hatton TM on behalf of National Highways to carry out a safety inspection of a redundant rail bridge. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
