What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6406 NEW LANE, HILCOTE
WHEN: 25 March 2025 (08:00 to 16:30)
WHERE: B6406 New Lane, Hilcote from its Jct. with the B6026 Huthwaite Lane for a distance of 650m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate telecommunication maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6406 New Lane (from point of closure), Hilcote Lane, Church Hill, B6026 Huthwaite Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
