Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 20 March 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NEWPORT ROAD (PART), MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2126)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow Removal of Haul Route Bridge continuation:
Newport Road, Moulsoe – Starting approximately 321m after London Road Junction for 100 meters. 3rd April 2025 – 7:00am 3rd July 2025 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, Cranfield Road, Moulsoe Road, Cranfield Road, Broughton Road, Fen Street and Portway (and vice versa).
Warning signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WATLING STREET (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2122)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following part of road to allow Network Rail to undertake an examination of the railway bridge:
30th March & 31st March 2025 (overnight 21:00 – 04:00)
Watling Street, Bletchley – from its junction with Standing Way to its junction with Grafton Street
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Standing Way and Grafton Street (and vice versa).
Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 20 March 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 18 March 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ROCKINGHAM DRIVE, LINFORD WOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2138)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Rockingham Drive, Linford Wood – opposite The Forum to allow Vodafone to carry out telecoms works and installation of a pole.
The closure will be in effect on 24th March 2025 between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Access will be maintained via marshals at either end of the closure.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WINDERMERE DRIVE (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2143)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along Windermere Drive, Bletchley from its junction with Ness Way for 80 metres in south westerly direction to allow AIS Utilities to safely undertake cable lay works:
24th March – 5th April 2024 (24 hours)
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Stoke Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 LONDON ROAD, MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (2) (Reference TTRO-2110)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow St James Group to carry out highway construction works:
From 25th March to 25th May 2025: -
London Road, Moulsoe from its junction with Holiday Inn to its junction with Moulsoe Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Portway, Marlborough Street, A422 Monks Way (and vice versa).
From 26th May to 31st August 2025: -
London Road, Moulsoe from its junction with Moulsoe Road to its junction with M1 Junction 14.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Portway, Marlborough Street, A422 Monks Way (and vice versa).
From 26th May to 31st August 2025: -
Newport Road, Moulsoe – From its junction with London Road to its junction with the new Link Road.
