B1342 Church Street - Temporary Road Closure

B1342 CHURCH STREET BAMBURGH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1342 Church Street Bamburgh from its junction with the B1341 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 180 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 24th March 2025 until the 24th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th March 2025 until the 28th March 2025 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th November 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1340, C69, C70, U2031, A1, B1342 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
