ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A6070, CARNFORTH, LANCASTER CITY) (REVOCATION AND 50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 06 March 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Speed Limit Management) (Various Road, Lancaster City Area) (Part Revocation, 30, 40, 50 and 60 mph Speed Limit) (No 1) Order 2010" insofar as it relates to the A601m Carnforth in Schedule 4.
2. Introduce a 50mph speed limit on A6070, Carnforth, from its roundabout junction with B6601 for a distance of 1380 metres to its roundabout junction with A6 Scotland Road, Warton.
This Order will come into force on the 24 March 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Lancaster City Council, Town Hall, Dalton Square, Lancaster, LA1 1PJ, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
