NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in those lengths of Bawtry Road, Blythe Road and
Stripe Road at Tickhill in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst high friction surfacing is undertaken on the
carriageway junction.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice. Those residents and businesses directly affected by the
works are to be notified of the scheme to include access
arrangements.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of
the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any
contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by this
Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and
the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

1) Bawtry Road, Tickhill from a point 55 meters south east of
its junction with Blyth Road in a north-westerly direction for a
distance of 165 meters.
2) Blyth Road, Tickhill from its junction with Bawtry Road in a
southerly direction for a distance of 100 meters.
3) Stripe Road, Tickhill from its junction with Bawtry Road in a
north-easterly direction for a distance of 85 meters.

07:00hrs 5th April 2025 until 18:00hrs 6th April 2025
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 30th April 2025.

have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic

will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that section
of road that comprises of the railway level crossing area on
Moss Road at Askern in the City of Doncaster District and
suspend the weight restriction as described in the Schedule to

workforce whilst works to deliver rail to Moss Level Crossing
with a lorry are undertaken.
