What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

C15 Lochgreen Road, Bonnybridge from 08:00 on 24/03/25 until 23:59 on 04/04/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes C15 Lochgreen Road, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to C16 in an easterly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C15, C46, B816 Bonnyhill Road, B816 Glenfuir Road, A803, B816 Bridge Street, B816 Seabegs Road, C15 or vice versa.

B816, Putlock Bridge, Castlecary from 20:00 on 25/03/25 until 06:00 on 27/03/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes B816, Putlock Bridge, Castlecary from a point adjacent to M80 Slip in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B816, A803, B802, Constary Road, Eastfield Road, B816 or vice versa.

Carmuirs Avenue, Falkirk from 09:30 until 18:00 on 26/03/25. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Carmuirs Avenue, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Mariner Avenue in an easterly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Mariner Road, Carmuirs Drive or vice versa.

Hillview Road, Larbert from 08:00 until 18:00 on 26/03/25. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Hillview Road, Larbert from a point adjacent to Pembroke Street in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Burnhead Road, George Street or vice versa.
