Borough Of Rochdale
(Grasmere Street, Rochdale) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Grasmere Street from its junction with Whitworth Road in a Westerly direction for a distance of 66 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate Surface water connection – Foul Water within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 21st March 2025 until 19:00 on the 31st March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Whitworth Road, Cronkeyshaw Road, Grouse Street & vice versa.
(Yorkshire Street, Rochdale) (Temporary Suspension Of Limited Parking Bay & Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
(i) Temporarily suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008
Schedule No 3.26
Limited waiting bay 7.30am to 6.30pm 1 hour Mon-Sat no return within 1 hour
Suspend waiting on the south side of Yorkshire Street from a point 15 metres south west of its junction with West Street for a distance of 40 metres in an a south westerly direction.
PROHIBIT WAITING AT ANY TIME
Temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time on Yorkshire Street on the south from its junction with West Street for a distance of 40 metres in an a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of waste water sewer in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00hours on the 24th March 2025 until 18:00 hours on the 28th March 2025.
(William Street, Littleborough (2) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Suspension Of One-Way Traffic Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along William Street from its junction with Butterworth Street for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.
(ii) Suspend The BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE (WILLIAM STREET, LITTLEBOROUGH) (ONE WAY WORKING) ORDER 2006 in such that any vehicle will be permitted to travel along William Street from its junction with Butterworth Street for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe installation of new electrical services within the carriageway and footway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 24th March 2025 until 23:59 on the 1st April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Butterworth Street, Featherstall Road, Stubley Mill Road & vice versa.
(Nixon Street) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles Order) (Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Nixon Street from its junction with Manchester Road in a westerly direction to a point 20metres in a westerly direction
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Nixon Street from its junction with Manchester Road in a westerly to a point 20metres in a westerly direction
The Order is required to facilitate rebuilding a fire hydrant chamber within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 7th April 2025 until 23:59 on the 9th April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road, Abbott Street, Harry Street, Ivor Street, Nixon Street & vice versa.
(Shawclough Way) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles Order) (Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Shawclough Way from its junction with Whitworth Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 232 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Shawclough Way from its junction with Whitworth Roadin a southerly direction for a distance of 232 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 7th April 2025 until 17:00 on the 21st April 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Shawclough Road, Market Street Whitworth Road & vice versa.
(Woodhouse Lane) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles Order) (Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Woodhouse Lane from a point 55metres west of its junction with Shawfield Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Woodhouse Lane from a point 55metres west of its junction with Shawfield Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of a new gas mains within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 7th April 2025 until 23:59 on the 26th May 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Woodhouse Lane, Shawfield Lane, Keepers Drive, Seven Acres Lane, Knowl Hill Drive & vice versa.
(Kiln Lane, Milnrow) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Kiln Lane from its junction with St James Street, Milnrow for a distance of 98 metres in a north easterly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Kiln Lane from its junction with St James Street, Milnrow for a distance of 98 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe replacement of the gas main within carriageway and footway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 5th April 2025 until 23:59 on the 17th April 2025 or before then if the works are completed sooner.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Kiln Lane, Wildhouse Lane, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Smithy Bridge Road, Halifax Road (A58), Albert Royds Street, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Rochdale Road, Bridge Street & vice versa.
