What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

Back Street, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable work for replacement of defective manhole cover and frame.

Order Commences: 26 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 27 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Leicester Road, Bond Street.

Contractor: For STW, Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.


C12 Plough Hill Road, Nuneaton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Polar Avenue and Cabinhill Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 26 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Plough Hill Road, Hickman Road, Tunnel Road, B4112 Birmingham Road, B4114 Coleshill Road, Plough Hill Road and vice versa. 

There will be no access/egress to/from Adelie Road whilst works are in progress.

D1750 Butler Crescent, Bedworth
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 26 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion, vehicular traffic to remain in Armson Road.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel:03452 415 302.


Public Bridleway N39 Nuneaton
Order Effect: Public Bridleway N39 Nuneaton closed to all traffic from Grid 

Reference: X 438274, Y 290896 to Grid Reference: X 438583, Y 290794.

Reason for Order: Because works are being carried out along its length.

Order Commences: 24 March 2025 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Please find an alternative route using existing Public Highways and Public Rights of Way.

Contractor: Taylor Wimpey, Tel: 01926 516 900.


Withybrook Lane, Shilton
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable overhead cabling works.

Order Commences: 28 March 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 March 2025.

Access & Diversion: Withybrook Lane, Shilton Road, Main Street, Withybrook Road, Leicester Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. 

Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
