What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A1307 & Views Common Link Road, Huntingdon) (30mph & 40mph Speed Limits) Order 202-
Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) proposes to make an Order under all relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:
- Revoke the permanent 40mph speed limit on the A1307; between points 107m and 684m southeast of its junction with Pathfinder Link Rd; between points 157m and 1922m northwest of the centre of the Views Common Link Rd roundabout.
- Amend the extent of the 40mph speed limit on Views Common Link Rd to match existing on street extents.
The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at New Shire Hall, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YE, during normal office hours, or via our online consultation portal – please use the link https://consultation.appyway.com/huntingdonshire and select the Order “CCC (A1307 & Views Common Link Road Huntingdon) (30mph & 40mph Speed Limits) Order 202-“.
All feedback, including objections stating the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing by the 9th of April 2025. Please use the consultation portal linked above or write to the undersigned. Comments will be used as part of our consultation process and may be published, anonymised, in any reports.
