St Mary Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Duct Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of St Mary Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along St Mary Street -from the junction with High Street to the junction with Lamb Lane. A total distance of 79 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to lay duct and carry out multiple service connections.
The Order becomes effective on 18th March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th March 2025 and last until 26th March 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
