Angus, Forfar Loch -Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrian Passage - To allow for works to upgrade the footpath.

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 17/03/2025 the Council made The Angus Council (Footpath on The West Side of Forfar Loch (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrian Passage) Order 2025 Order 2025)under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purposes of upgrade footway works at Forfar Loch, Forfar. The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from exercising a right of passage along the footpath from its junction with the path that leads to Orchardbank, extending westwards, northwards then eastwards to its junction with the road that leads to Garth Farm, a distance of 862 metres or thereby.
