GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C25 ROAD FROM JUNCTION WITH BRANCHES  ROAD TO JUNCTION WITH A48
(AWRE PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C25 Road from junction with Branches Road to junction with A48 from its junction with A48 to outside of the property known as ‘Greenfields’ for a distance of approximately 490 metres.

The reason for the closure is for drainage works.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:30hrs on 24th March 2025 until 15:30hrs on 28th March 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C12 MAIN ROAD
(LYDNEY TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C12 Main Road from its junction with Captains Green Road to its junction with Stag Hill for a distance of approximately 130 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 24th March 2025 until 16:00hrs on 26th March 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C45 ROAD FROM GRANGE COURT LANE TO  JUNCTION WITH CHAPEL LANE
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C45 Road from Grange Court Lane to the junction with Chapel Lane, from next to the property known as ‘Upper Ley Farm’ to approximately 370 metres southwards on Chapel Lane for a distance of approximately 370 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 11th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the road, from the junction with New Road to Parkend Primary School, from the side of Norchard Crossing, for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed from 7th April 2025 until 9th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

(RUARDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 403056 High Beech Road from outside the property known as ‘High Beech Cottage’ to its junction with Eddys Lane for a distance of approximately 420 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to safely carry out defective tarmac remediation in the carriageway.

The said road is expected to be closed from 9th April 2025 until 11th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs on 6th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for water and drainage works. The said road is expected to be closed from 7th April 2025 until 27th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY EWS 153
(WESTBURY ON SEVERN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Bridleway EWS 153 from its junction at Lumbars Lane in a generally Westerly direction for approximately 290 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EWS 152 and shown on the Order Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.

The Bridleway falls within the Parish of Westbury on Severn in the Forest of Dean District, in the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst fibre works take place.

The Order will come into force on 24th March 2025 and is anticipated that the Bridleway will remain closed until 28th March 2025.

This Order authorises the closure for a period of up to six months if necessary. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Route – no alternative route though access for pedestrians will be maintained in full. Emergency access and pedestrian access will be maintained.
