What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC NOTICE

FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

FLINT

The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 14th March 2025 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Cornist Road, between its junctions with Halkyn Street and Old London Road, Flint, in the County of Flintshire. The reason for the closure is to facilitate sewer connection installation to Section 50 Development Works with associated works by Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 31st March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 14th March 2025 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in B5125 Link From Holywell Road to Ewloe Roundabout, between its junctions with B5125 Ewloe Roundabout and Old Aston Hill, Ewloe in the County of Flintshire.

The reason for the closure is to facilitate gas mains replacement works with associated works by Wales and West Utilities.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 31st March 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

MOLD

Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in Bryn Coch Uchaf between its junctions with Maes Gwern and Upper Bryn Coch Lane, Mold, in the County of Flintshire.

The reason for the closure is to facilitate electrical installation to Section 50 Development Works with associated works by Utility Infrastructure Solutions Ltd.

The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The Order comes into force on the 17th March 2025. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 2 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

B5122 SOUTH STREET, B5122 NORTH STREET, CHAPEL STREET, WATER STREET,

HIGH STREET, DROVERS LANE AND HOLYWELL ROAD, CAERWYS

PROPOSED PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME

Flintshire County Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, Part IV of Schedule 9 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013, so as to :-

1. Introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions: -

a. At the junction of the B5122 South Street with Chapel Street, Caerwys.

b. At the junction of the B5122 North Street with Drovers Lane, Caerwys.

c. At the junction of the B5122 North Street with High Street, Caerwys.

d. At the junction of the B5122 North Street with Water Street, Caerwys.

e. At the junction of the B5122 North Street with Holywell Road, Caerwys.

In all other respects the present provisions of the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013' will remain in force.

A copy of the Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the roads affected by the proposal and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during normal opening hours at Flintshire Connects, Mold Library, Earl Road, Mold, Flintshire CH7 1AP and Flintshire Connects, Mold Library, Earl Road, Mold, Flintshire CH7 1AP.
