Brackenbury Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Flooding Prevention Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(BRACKENBURY ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate flooding prevention works in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.
2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter Brackenbury Road from the junction with Aldensby Road to No. 107 Brackenbury Road.
3. Works will be carried out in two phases; phase one will be located between the junction with Aldensby Road to No. 104 Brackenbury Road from the 24th March 2025 to the 6th April 2025. Phase two will be located between No. 107 to No. 119 Brackenbury Road from the 7th April 2025 to the 17th April 2025
4. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Aldensley Road, Tabor Road and Coulter Road
5. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
6. The Order will come into operation on the 24th March 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
7. Works will be expected to commence on Monday 24th March 2025 and last until the 17th April 2025. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
