(Cross Road, Heald Green) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Notice 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Cross Road, Heald Green between the junctions of Kilburn Close and Oakdene Avenue, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary to allow for sewer repair works. It is estimated these works will last twelve days.
A diversion will be provided via Outwood Road, Wilmslow Road, Bolshaw Road, vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on the 14 April 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
