What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Northend Road, Northend) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Northend Road for approximately 201M.
Alternative route: Northend Road, Turville Heath, Balhams Lane, Balham’s Lane, Greenfield, Road Running Through Christmas Common from Hollandsridge Lane to The Old Church, Hollandsridge Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst tree works commence on 17 March 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
(Rowan Ave, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rowan Ave for approximately 40M.
Alternative route: Rowan Ave, Totteridge Rd, Bowerdean Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Thames Water replace leaking ferrule in the carriageway commencing on 7 April 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 April 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
(Green Dragon Ln, Flackwell Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Green Dragon Ln for approximately 53M.
Alternative route: Green Dragon Ln, Chapman Ln, Straight Bit, Northern Woods and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Thames Water replace leaking ferrule in the carriageway commencing on 7 April 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 April 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
(Earl Howe Rd, Holmer Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Earl Howe Rd for approximately 46M.
Alternative route: Earl Howe Rd, Pond Approach, Orchard Way and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Thames Water remedial works commence on 17 April 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 April 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
(Blackwell Hall Lane, Ley Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Blackwell Hall Lane for approximately 402M.
Alternative route: Old School Hill, Blackwell Hall Lane, Oxford Road, Church Lane, Hoddy Bottom, Horse Hill, Middle Road and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Thames Water remedial works commence on 24 March 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Gold Hill East, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
This order will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gold Hill East for approximately 35M.
The closure is required whilst the construction of dwellings for the church commences on 24 March 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Public Bridleway No. 79/2, Parish of Bedlow Cum Saunderton) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2025
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, this order will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Bridleway No.79/2, which commences at the junction with West Lane and continues south to Icknield.
The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to failed surface.
There is no suitable alternative route.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
(Public Footpath No. 2/1, Parish of Fawley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025
Under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, this order will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing approximately 610M south of the junction of Fawley Footpath 2/1 and Hambledon Footpath 54/1 and continuing south for approximately 160M.
The closure is required whilst work is carried out for the Henley Regatta site infrastructure.
Alternative route: To the side of the footpath.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 March 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY) HIGH WYCOMBE PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER 2025
Made on 20 February 2025, under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, this order will create a public bridleway from SU87598-92056 NE for 11M to SU87604-92064 as shown as a bold broken line on the Order Map and having a width of 5M throughout and from SU87604-92064 NE for 38M to SU87626-92095 as shown as a bold broken line on the Order Map with a varying width between 5.2M and 6M (shaded grey on the Order Map).

Any representations or objections to the Order may be sent in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, 6th Floor, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA, or via email to rw@buckinghamshire.gov.uk by no later than 11 April 2025.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, Buckinghamshire Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
